quality handmade fitted and freestanding furniture
by Andrew Rump
I have commissioned AD infinitum twice to make various pieces from a large built in wardrobe and shelving to freestanding bedside tables. The work and design is of a very high quality and they took great care on site. I am very pleased with the end results and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Although AD infinitum does specialise in fine freestanding furniture, my need was for fitted space-saving solutions. Having moved from a house to a flat I badly needed innovative ideas to create storage space. By looking carefully at the structure of my rooms the company came up with some ingenious suggestions for maximising what was essentially wasted space and I am delighted to say that all these designs were realised and executed with pride and precision.

AD infinitum delivered the most beautiful curved top oak door with stainless steel fittings to us. We had commissioned the door for an arched opening which leads through a wall from our garden to a piece of woodland. The quality of the workmanship is superb as well as the fitting of all the door furniture and locks etc. They also installed the door in less than perfect circumstances with the rest of the garden, a hectic building site at the time. It has greatly enhanced our garden as well as giving us security and peace of mind.
Thank you AD infinitum for all your craftsmanship and professionalism.

My brief to Ad-infinitum was to create a modern kitchen in a Grade 2 listed cottage in West Sussex. After receiving listed building and planning consent Andrew carefully created one large space out of two smaller rooms, and proceeded to design, craft and install a fully-fledged modern kitchen. In the process he had to work around the wonderful quirks of a listed building – where none of the floors are flat and the walls bend, curve, and bow. The end result was a stunningly homely cottage kitchen that attracts plaudits from family, friends and visitors. I am happy to recommend the design, craftsmanship and quality of his work.

Andrew Rump is a true craftsman. His knowledge of materials, and experience with tools and equipment are extraordinary. In our home, we are fortunate to have several individual pieces of furniture made for our family kitchen and they are both elegant and timeless in design yet thoroughly practical - they work well and have certainly stood the test of time bringing up a young family. They will undoubtedly become family heirlooms.
